What Is DDoS Attack?
An attack that floods a server or network with massive traffic, making it unavailable.
In a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack, many devices (often part of a botnet) simultaneously send a huge volume of requests to a target, overwhelming it so it cannot serve legitimate users. Hiding your real IP via a VPN reduces the chance of becoming a target.
