What Is Diffie-Hellman Key Exchange?
A method that lets two parties agree on a shared secret key over an insecure channel.
Diffie-Hellman key exchange lets two parties (e.g. your device and a VPN server) arrive at a shared secret encryption key, without that key ever being transmitted directly over the network - even if someone intercepts the entire exchange, they cannot compute the key.
