Account Security
What Is Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)?
A login requiring two or more different forms of identity verification.
MFA extends the logic of 2FA, requiring two or more of three factor types: something you know (a password), something you have (a phone or security key), and something you are (a biometric trait). The more factors required, the harder it is for an attacker to obtain them all.
