What Is Catfishing?
Creating a fake online identity to deceive someone, usually in a romantic or social context.
In catfishing, someone creates a fake profile - using stolen photos and fabricated details - to start an online relationship or friendship with the aim of emotional exploitation, financial fraud, or simply deception.
