What Is IP Leak?

When your real IP address is revealed despite using a VPN, due to a misconfiguration or browser technology.

An IP leak happens when, despite an active VPN connection, your real IP leaks to a website - often through browser technologies like WebRTC, or due to an unexpected VPN disconnection with no safeguard in place to prevent it.
