What Is Third-Party Cookie?

A cookie set by a different domain than the one you are visiting, usually for advertising tracking.

Unlike a first-party cookie (from the website you are actually visiting), a third-party cookie is set by an external domain - often an ad network - and is used to track your behavior across many different websites.
