What Is Tracking Pixel?

An invisible, tiny image inside an email or webpage that notifies the sender when you open it.

A tracking pixel is an invisible 1x1 pixel image embedded in an email or webpage. When the content loads, the image "calls" the sender's server, revealing that you opened it, when, and sometimes from which location.
