What Is Encryption?
The conversion of data into an unreadable form, so only someone with the right key can read it.
Encryption uses mathematical algorithms to convert readable data (plaintext) into unintelligible form (ciphertext). Only someone with the correct cryptographic key can reverse the process and read the original data. It is the foundation of security for every VPN connection.
