How to Connect to K1VPN on Mac Without Installing Any Extra App

Learn how in under 2 minutes you can get secure VPN access using the built-in macOS VPN client and the IKEv2 protocol - no additional software required.

If you prefer not to fill your Mac with extra applications, K1VPN has you covered. macOS includes a built-in VPN client with full support for the IKEv2 protocol - one of the most secure and stable protocols available. You'll be connected to your chosen server in under 2 minutes.

Step 1: Get Your Credentials from the Dashboard

If you paid by card: Log in to the login page using the email and password you provided during registration. If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it from the same page.

If you paid with cryptocurrency: Log in to the anonymous login page using the username and password that appeared on your screen before the payment - the ones you noted down or saved in the txt file.

Important for cryptocurrency users: If you have lost your dashboard login credentials, unfortunately there is no way to recover them.

Once logged in to your dashboard, select the "VPN Connections" card.

  4. Local ID: Your username
  5. User Authentication: Select "Username"
  6. Username: Your username from the dashboard
  7. Password: Your password from the dashboard

Click "Create".

Step 3: Connect

After saving, you will be returned to the VPN screen, where the new connection you just created now appears. Toggle the switch next to it to connect.

That's it. You are now successfully connected to K1VPN without having installed any additional application on your Mac. You can browse anonymously and securely.

You can add as many servers as you like by repeating the same process and selecting a different location each time.

Note 1: A macOS update may occasionally cause the connection to stop working or fail to connect. If this happens, delete the connection, restart your device, and create a new connection from scratch.

Note 2: You can of course also connect using any other method - the K1VPN app for macOS (which only requires your user/pass), WireGuard® for maximum speeds, or OpenVPN® for full control and customisation.
